The Bikali College Science Club was formed on 18th December 2022 to enrich the scientific culture and develop the scientific attitude among students and members of Bikali College. Every student enrolled in the science stream at H.S. and U.G levels is regarded as an active member of the science club. Alumni are taken into account as well. Aside from that, this club is open to any students who would like to join.
Mission:
- The objective of the science club is to help students develop in the field of science by providing a platform for them to demonstrate their talents and experiment with different scientific methods to improve their skills.
- To provide proper incentive and inspiration in pursuit of scientific knowledge by broadening their scientific outlook.
- To encourage students to participate actively in the activities organized by the science club.
- To develop the creativity and encourage them for participation in different competitions
- To conduct various science exhibitions and outreach programmes to develop the scientific temperament among students.
- To expose their various ideas and technologies in the scientific area at regional and national level
- To allow them to work in the field of their interest and hone their skills in presentation.
Vision:
- The vision of our science club is to encourage the students more and more to participate in regional and national level science exhibitions so as to expose them to various ideas and technology used in scientific models.
- To widen the outlook of students, apply the knowledge in life situations.
- To build a community of scientifically-minded people, and provide opportunities for students to network and collaborate.
- To keep the students in touch with recent advances in science and technology.
