F. NON-FORMAL SANSKRIT EDUCATION CENTRE

The College has a branch of Non-Formal Sanskrit Education Centre introduced by the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan –the Deemed University under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. It provides successively IST LEVEL CERTIFICATE COURSE, 2ND LEVEL DIPLOMA COURSE AND 3RD LEVEL P.G. DIPLOMA COURSE. It keeps the following aims : (1) To initiate Sanskrit learning

(2) To introduce Science and literature in Sanskrit language and (3) To get a working knowledge in illustrious Sanskrit, the scientific language of the world.

Eligibility

  1. HIGHER SECONDARY COURSE: For admission into Higher Secondary First Year Science, Arts and Commerce, a candidate must pass H.S.L.C. Examination or any other equivalent Examinations.
  2. DEGREE COURSE: For admission into Degree (Arts) course, a candidate must pass Higher Secondary or any other equivalent examinations from secondary school or university. For admission into Degree (Commerce) a candidate must pass H.S. Arts / Commerce / Science / Vocational or equivalent examination.
  3. P. G. COURSE: For admission into P. G. Course in Assamese and Geography a candidate must pass Degree course with Assamese and Geography as Major subject.

          3.1  For both the courses, selection wall be made on merit basis through selection procedure by the College authority.

          3.2. Candidates selected must take admission within the schedule time.

          3.3. The  concerned department will take decision  in selecting candidates in “Major course’ .

          3.4.The decision of the Academic committee regarding any admission shall be final.

 

Admission Procedure

Application for admission to the first semester classes of Three Years Degree Course (CBCS) and H.S. First Year can be filled online through online admission portal to be activated on scheduled time after official notification and declaration of the H.S. Final examination and H.S.L.C examination results. For detailed rules and regulation as well as eligibility conditions for admission in to the different courses, students should go through the prospectus of the College. Before filling the application, applicants should carefully read the online instruction. The last date of submission of forms and dates of interview/admission for admission will be notified in the website and college notice board. Scanned copies of the following documents are to be submitted online during the time of online form filled up.

List of original documents to be produced at the time of admission:

  1. Mark sheet of particular examination passed.
  2. Admit card.
  3. Three copies of passport size photographs signed by the candidate (duly attested).
  4. Registration Card.
  5. Pass certificate of last examination.
  6. Caste Certificate (if applicable).
  7. Certificates of extracurricular activities if any.
  8. First page of bank pass book.
  9. Gap certificate (if applicable).
  10. Income certificate ( If applicable)

N.B: However, the original of the same must be produced for verification whenever necessary.
