Bikali College was established on 14 April 1982 by the rural masses of 52 numbers of villages under “Bikali Mauza Unnayan Samiti”. However, the science stream of the college was functioning from the year 2016 with the demand of the local people of Bikali Mouza. During these years the departments has been rendering a very significant role to impart the scientific knowledge to the students in accordance with the syllabus of the Gauhati University as well as basic science is concerned. . The department also conducted Bridge course and Remedial classes for slow learners. The department has well equipped laboratory. The department has flexibility in conducting tests, tutorials, seminar etc. The department extends the extension activities beyond the classroom in the form of conducting field visits and arranging guest lecture from eminent personalities. Apart from traditional method of board teaching, modem ICT enabled methods using the Power Point presentations on LCD projector and audio-video educative material available as CDs and material accessed from the internet, is liberally utilized by the faculty members. Students are also encouraged to develop presentations using these resources.
