The Department of Zoology was established in the year 2015 with an aim to provide quality education and scientific knowledge as well as practical thinking. The Department has highly dedicated & experienced faculties with  teaching experience more than 5 years.

The department has a group of highly active and vibrant faculty members committed to deliver high quality research standard in various field of zoology and also train students  to become competent and and motivated zoologist. The department  has its own aquarium House and aquariculture centre which is an outcome of 90 hours certificate course. The department currently offers higher secondary,four year undergraduate programme. The department has an active MOU with Regional Sericulture Research Centre Boko under Central silk board. Several training programmes on Aquarium making, Ericulture, Livestock management in collaboration with reputed research centre such as RSRS Boko, Veterinary College, Agriculture University etc. Such programme has been assisted by safisticated higher secondary and B.Sc level  laboratories.
