HOSTEL

The college has both girls’ and boys’ hostel within the college campus. Both the hostel has limited number of seats which are allotted purely on the basis of merit. The girls’ and boys’ hostel has 80 and 40 seat capacities, respectively. Any students seeking admission into the hostel must apply through online with necessary documents. Both the hostels have a management committee comprising of superintendents, wardens and faculty as members with principal as the chairperson. These committee take care of admission, financial transaction, leave issues and disciplinary action against any kind of violation of rules and regulations. The girls’ hostel provides in house accommodation to four lady teachers who are entrusted with the responsibility as superintendents and wardens to look after the hostel boarders. For safety and security of the hostel, the hostel is under CCTV coverage round the clock. Twenty-four hours electricity with inverter and generator for power back-up, running water with acquaguard clean drinking water facility, free computer learning facility after 4 P.M. etc. are some of the key facilities provided to the hostel boarders. Both the hostels have mess committee to run the mess properly. The college authority regularly supervises the hostels in the matter of health, hygiene and cleanliness.

CENTRAL LIBRARY

The Bikali College Central library was started with the very inception of the college in 1982 and is located in the main academic building of the college. The library presently boasts of an impressive stock of more than 25000 books, which includes text and reference books. In addition to these, the library has also rare collection of manuscripts, old magazines, newspaper, journal etc. The college library is partially automated and is using SOUL software for computerisation and automation. It has its own website and is accessible to all. New books are added to the library through the course of every academic year. It also subscribes to a range of ......... journals, .......... magazines and ......... newspaper. The central library with its open rack system, spacious reading room and reference section provides an atmosphere conducive to academic work. A photocopier point is also available inside the library, which provides photocopy facility to the students at a concessional rate.

COMPUTER CENTRE

The college has a well-equipped computer centre for the students and staff. Works on another central computer centre with a capacity of sixty computers is going on and it will be open for students from the academic year 2021-20. In addition to general course in Computer Science and Information technology, the computer centre is open to all students after 4 P.M to learn the basics. The college has also signed a MOU with Third Eye through which offered to the students at a very low cost.
