The Third Eye Computer Education Centre, Bikali College is an outcome of an MOU signed between Bikali College and Third Eye Education Pvt. Ltd Guwahati. The main purpose of the center is to create digital literacy among local students and populace through affordable courses and diploma in computer education.
Computer education is essential for building a robust career, providing the technical knowledge necessary to secure a desirable job. In today’s job market, regular education alone often falls short, making computer literacy almost mandatory. Most jobs now require some degree of computer proficiency, making those with such skills more eligible and attractive to employers across both organized and unorganized sectors. Advanced computer education in areas such as network administration, hardware maintenance, or software development opens doors to numerous job opportunities. Given the widespread application of computers in various fields, they have become indispensable in our rapidly evolving society. Keeping pace with this technological advancement necessitates computer education, which has become an integral part of everyday life. Additionally, the growing online marketing sector demands technically adept workers who are well-versed in digital tools. To address this need, Bikali College has launched an initiative to provide computer education to its students at a concessional rate i.e. half the rate of the professional institutes, partnering with Third Eye Computer Education Centre, a prominent IT training institute in Dhupdhara (Goalpara) since 2007, successfully training over 550 students. The institute offers a diverse range of career-oriented, short-term, and certification courses, all meticulously designed by experts following thorough market analysis and research. These courses are delivered by experienced and certified faculty members who continually update their technical skills to maintain their expertise. Committed to providing high-quality education at a relatively lower cost, the institute has enabled students from economically disadvantaged families in the area to pursue computer courses. This initiative aims to equip students with essential computer skills for their greater benefit and improved career prospects.
