Changing the Narrative on Suicide- An Awareness Programme on Mental Health was organised on World Suicide Prevention Day on 10th September 2026 by the Mental Health Club, Bikali College in collaboration with Goalpara Medical College under Mission Director, National Health Mission, Assam. Dr. Upamay Nath of Goalpara Medical College delivered the lecture on mental health awareness. 17/09/2026
An Interdepartmental Bhupendra Sangeet Competition was held to commemorate the Centenary Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Padma Shri Bhupen Hazarika on 8th September 2026. The event was jointly organised by Bikali College and Sneh by Bluebird Vision (NGO). Department of Assamese won the 1st Prize, followed by Political Science who won 2nd Prize and Education Department bagging 3rd Prize. 17/09/2026
An Awareness and Training Programme on Disaster Management was organised by the NSS Unit and NDRF on 3rd September 2026. The training was imparted by Shri Probin Phukan and other NDRF personnels on disaster preparedness, first aid and CPR, fire and flood safety and community response. 17/09/2026

A flood relief fund collection was initiated by the BCSU for Sibsagar-Jorhat flood victims. A total of Rs. 50,000 was collected and the amount (Cashiers’ Cheque) was handed over to Shri Tankeswar Rabha, MLA, Dudhnoi and CEM, RHAC during the Freshers’ Meet 2026. 16/09/2026
The General Freshers’ 2026 was organised by Bikali College on 28th August 2026 in the college premise. The day-long event had a slew of programmes such was wall magazine inaugural, freshers introduction and talent show, prize distributions and cultural programme. 16/09/2026
A Two-Day Workshop was organised by the BCSU and Career Counselling and Placement Cell from 21-22 August 2026. Resource person for the second day was Kunjalata Brahma Bathari, Assistant Professor, LCB College, Guwahati and NSS Programme Officer, LCB Unit.
