Department of Education, Bikali College was established in 1982. The department offers both honours and regular courses to the students. The first batch of the major course was admitted in 1984. The department received government concurrence in 1995. Prior to the year 1995, the students of the department had to appear the final examination under Dudhnoi College. Mrs. B Majumdar was the first faculty member of the department. The department is well equipped with psychological laboratory, library facility and smart classroom along with the general classroom. The department carries out different extension activities and community development Programmes.
